As Olaf Scholz said during the 6th German-Ukrainian Business Forum: "Everyone who invests in Ukraine now is investing in a future EU member!"
State support for investing in Ukraine is constantly improving. President Zelensky signed an amendment to the Law on state support for investment projects with significant investments in Ukraine. In the 1-st part of the webinar our partner from State Investment Promotion Office (UkraineInvest) will share their experience about increasing investment opportunities in Ukraine.
Investment Guarantees, which support foreign investors doing business in Ukraine, are part of the Foreign Trade and Investment Promotion scheme of Ukrainian and EU Governments (Germany, France, Netherlands and Poland) as well as the World Bank’s Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA). The German Federal Government additionally decided on Export Credit Guarantees, also known as a “Hermes Cover” for Ukraine, to expand the coverage options offered by Germany. During 2-nd part of the webinar, SCHNEIDER GROUP experts will explain what risks are covered, as well as what costs are incurred.
