Customs visa-free regime for Ukrainian business
The decrees of the Cabinet of Ministers from the 27th of September officially opened access to all authorizations and simplifications according to EU standards for Ukrainian businesses.
From now on, not only authorized economic operators, but also an unlimited circle of Ukrainian business representatives will be able to use all the advantages and simplifications of joint transit.
The second innovation is the cancellation of the mandatory provision of security for the payment of customs fees for a specified list of goods to the customs authorities during the transportation of such goods through the territory of Ukraine. Such rules will be in force during the period of martial law and for one year after its end.
Changes were also made to the Regulation on customs declarations, approved by Government Resolution No. 450 on the 21st of May 2012. From now on, the preparation and use of customs declarations is brought into line with international standards, the forms of customs declarations are excluded from the scope of Government regulation, and the Customs of Ukraine will have similar to European procedures for granting, evaluating and monitoring authorizations and simplifications.
