Impact of street renaming on legal entities

In connection with the military aggression of the Russian Federation, it was decided to rename hundreds of streets in Ukraine.

Although such changes practically do not affect individuals, legal entities will be forced to take some measures. Changing the street name for legal entities means that their legal address will not be valid.

Thus, from the moment of renaming the street, legal entities must make changes to all constituent documents, make changes in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Organizations, and also notify the bank and counterparties of such changes. Making such changes to the registry is free of charge.

In spite of the fact that there are no deadlines for such changes, difficulties which will arise in connection with the delay can have negative consequences.
