SCHNEIDER GROUP Ukraine at the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Rome

Over the past three years, the Ukrainian office of SCHNEIDER GROUP has been actively developing the Rebuild Ukraine initiative by participating in international events and holding a series of webinars on this topic in order to inform and attract foreign investors to the Ukrainian market. Mr. Vitalii Ostapchuk, Senior Project and Business Development Manager, visited the Ukraine Recovery Conference, which took place in Rome on the 10th and 11th of July.

This is an annual conference which brings together governments, international organizations, financial institutions, business and civil society for the purpose of supporting Ukraine during its recovery and reconstruction from the damages caused by Russia’s full-scale aggression. It was the 4th Ukraine Recovery Conference and this year it had appr. 6 thousand participants. The conference was focused on 4 topics: 1) mobilizing the private sector; 2) social recovery; 3) recovery of regions; 4) EU accession and related reforms. Other important issues such as macroeconomic stability, security, infrastructure, energy, climate protection, healthcare and others were integrated into the 4 main topics.

Apart from the conference itself, Mr. Ostapchuk also visited the side-events, which were organized by EBA and AHK. Mr. Ostapchuk had meetings with potential clients and partners who are interested in Ukrainian market. It is worth noting, that the level of interest of investors in setting the footprint on the market of Ukraine within the recovery initiative remains high.
