The government has adopted two resolutions to attract over €12 million in grant funds for the reconstruction of Ukraine
Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal announced, "The first decision involves amendments to the grant agreement with the European Investment Bank for the modernization of the water supply and wastewater system in Mykolaiv. The grant amount will be increased from €5 million to €8 million. The second decision is to attract €4.5 million in grant funds from the EBRD and the International Development Association for the repair of damaged housing."
Mr. Shmyhal noted that fruitful cooperation between Ukraine and USAID continues across all key areas. One of the recent initiatives is a partnership with Ukrzaliznytsia for its integration into the Trans-European transport network. $225 million will be allocated for the construction of a dual-track railway section spanning 75 km.
"We are also rebuilding hospitals and clinics to ensure universal access to medical services. Following the Russian invasion, 847 healthcare facilities have already been fully or partially restored," emphasized the Prime Minister.
