Travel abroad on the terms of financial support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
On the 13th of September Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine registered draft law No. 8029 on amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On the procedure for departure from Ukraine and entry into Ukraine of citizens of Ukraine" regarding the procedure for the departure of citizens abroad in a special period under the conditions of guaranteed financial support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The project provides:
- having an account in one of the state banks of Ukraine with a guarantee contribution in the amount of at least 5 subsistence minimums for able-bodied persons (which is established at the time of departure), funds from which the citizen cannot use outside of Ukraine,
- transfer to the relevant bank of a notarized statement about the voluntary obligation to replenish the account with a guarantee contribution with funds in an amount equal to the minimum amount of taxes from the minimum wage (at the time of recalculation) for each month (or part of a month) of stay abroad during the period of validity of martial law in Ukraine, and permission to deduct from the account with a guarantee contribution the minimum amount provided for in this paragraph to a special account for the collection of funds for the support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine after the end of each month during which the citizen was outside Ukraine during the martial law (or if the citizen did not notify the bank about returning to Ukraine).
