UkraineInvest took part in webinar “Investment Opportunities in Ukraine”, which was organized by SCHNEIDER GROUP as a part of the series of events dedicated to Rebuild Ukraine topic. More than 20 companies-representatives of German business took part in the event.

During the online event strategic advisor to UkraineInvest Mr. Kostiantyn Lisnychyi presented the investment projects which started or were implemented in Ukraine after 24.02.2022. Mr. Lisnychyi also spoke about the main investment opportunities that exist in Ukraine, namely: significant deposits of natural resources, the potential for supplying equipment for industry and processing of agricultural products, significant demand for construction materials, opportunities for renewable energy sources, waste management and many more prospects related to the expected recovery of Ukraine.

Kostiantyn stressed that currently Ukraine is highly undervalued, and foreign companies should take advantage of this when planning their expansion into promising markets. In accordance with its mission, UkraineInvest can not only provide information about investment opportunities and existing incentives in Ukraine, but also can provide full support for significant investment projects with maximum risk reduction.

During the second part of the webinar Mr. Vitalii Ostapchuk, Senior Business Development manager in SCHNEIDER GROUP, spoke about investment guarantees and export credit guarantees for foreign investors as well as about the insurance of investments against war risks which the German government is working on together with Ukrainian and Western partners with the involvement of business.
